Sunfab won double up as Entrepreneur of the Year

Hylla Hudik is a gala in Hudiksvall that celebrates local business / entrepreneurs for the difference they create in society. The initiative for the gala HYLLA was taken by Pär Johansson, Glada Hudik Teatern.

During the evening on May 10th, 11 awards were distributed in as many categories including the Entrepreneur of the Year in Hudiksvall which Sunfab won.

Eric Sundin won honorary award
Sunfab's founder Eric Sundin won an honorary award at Hylla Galan in 2019, which was received by the three brothers as the third-generation owner in the family business.

Hylla Galan was performed in the crane manufacturer HIAB's old premises in Hudiksvall, a company that Eric Sundin together with the builder Einar Frisk started in the 1940’s.

Sunfab also won the regional finals
During a ceremony at Gävle Castle on May 28, the regional finals were held for the Entrepreneur of the Year in Gävleborg. Sunfab also won this final and the owners Mats, Per and Jerker Sundin are now 1 of 21 finalists for the national finals in Stockholm.

The Entrepreneur of the Year award has been awarded for over 80 years by the Företagarna organisation. The municipal winners gather for the next step in a regional final and all the regional winners will then go on to the big finals Entrepreneur of the Year Sweden which is held in the Blue Hall in Stockholm City Hall. In total, there are 21 regional finalists who make up the national title.

The jury has consisted of: 2018 winner Helene Åkerström Hartman, county governor Per Bill, regional director Johan Färnstrand and Företagarnas regional director Eva Cooper.
