Mikael Brännström is the new CFO at Sunfab taking up the position from the 1st of June.

Mikael was born and raised in Boliden in the north of Sweden but has lived in Hudiksvall since 1992. He has a M.Sc. in Business and Economics from Umeå University, and comes from a position of CEO for the Bruks Group. Previously, he has also had several different CFO positions within the Holmen Group and within Iggesund Tools.

Mikael describes himself as a calm, confident and relaxed person. When Michael isn’t working he likes tennis, skiing, traveling and spending time with family. He also has a cottage in Lakbäck by the sea, where he likes to spend his free time.

Mikael looks forward to an exciting service at Sunfab, which in his eyes is a well-run, local, family company with a very good reputation. After weekly commutes to work for nearly four years it will be nice to work back in Hudiksvall and Mikael believes that, with his broad experience from many different positions and industries, he will be able to contribute very positively to the company.
