A record strong Sunfab breaks all previous records

Already at the end of 2020, demand for Sunfab's products increased and in 2021, order intake was record high. Order intake for the full year ended at over 61,000 units, which broke the previous record since 2008.
During the year 2021, Sunfab showed strong sales growth in demand for hydraulic pumps and motors. Order intake in 2021 increased by more than 40% compared with 2020 and the Sunfab Group's sales amounted to SEK 263 million, which is an increase of 24% compared with the previous year. The year 2021 summed up had the highest order intake, sales and number of units sold in the company's history.
Through successful work, Sunfab Hydraulics AB has increased its share of exports to over 93% and growth has been shown to be greatest in strategic emerging markets such as the USA and Asia. During 2019, Sunfab established a new subsidiary in Penang, Malaysia, which has already made significant increases in sales.
The strong result that Sunfab is now showing for the fifth year in a row is generating financial strength for future investments. Significant machine investments have already been initiated in recent years and will continue in the coming years.
At the end of 2020, an organisational change was implemented at the factory in Hudiksvall with the aim of improving and streamlining daily work. Strengthening of the organisation in the form of more recruitments has already been completed during the last year.

As an effect of the good result that the company achieved in 2021, all employees at Sunfab will benefit from a profit sharing of a total of SEK 3 million in accordance with the company’s profit-sharing program.
