Until the early 20th century, concrete was mixed on the job site and transported from the cement mixer to the formwork, either in wheelbarrows or in buckets lifted by cranes which required a lot of time and labour.
A concrete pump is used to transfer liquid concrete from the truck or semi-trailer directly to the construction site. Also known as a boom concrete pump because it uses a remote-controlled articulating robotic arm (called a boom) to place concrete accurately.
The concrete pump truck perfectly combines the functions of driving, pumping and distributing the concrete together with the boom which has the functions of folding and turning. The boom is flexible and fast, while the support leg occupies a small space, which means that the whole vehicle is easy and flexible to move.

The SCPD dual flow pumps are of bent-axis design, the SLPD pumps are of inline design, both very effective and powerful. Sunfab also offer variable pumps with a displacement of 62, 92, 112 and 130 cm³. A working pressure of up to 450 bar, and flexibility via different types of regulators and tandem assembly. This enables the use of this type of pump in almost all applications where a variable oil flow is required.
